Department of Posts , India Tamilnadu Circle invites application from the eligible applicants for filling up 621 posts of Postal Assistant and sorting Assistant in each division in the circle.All the eligible candidates can apply on or before 01/10/2012 . other details related to the vacancy are given below.

Postal Assistant: 415 posts
Sorting Assistant: 88 posts
Postal Assistant (Returned Letter Office): 01 post
Postal Assistant (Mail Motor Service): 03 posts
Postal Assistant (Foreign Post Organization): 05 posts
Postal Assistant: (SBCO): 109

Pay Scale : Rs 5200 - 20200 + Grade Pay 2400/-
Age Limit : 18-27 Years as on 01/10/2012 ( Relaxation SC/ST - 5 years ,OBC -3years ).
Educational Qualification : 10+2 or 12th Pass with at least 60% and above from a recognized board .

Application Fee : Rs 200/- (Examination Fee) and Rs 50 (cost of application). Rs 200/- should be deposited in a Post Office of the circle and obtain ACG-67/UCR receipt.

Availibility of application Form : at All Head Post offices and identified Post offices in the Circles from 11/08/2012 to 25/09/2012.

How to apply : Duly filled application form along with Copies of relevant certificates and original receipt of ACG-67/UCR issued by the identified Post Office of this Circle towards payment of Examination fee have to be sent to  “Direct Recruitment Cell, New Delhi HO, New Delhi-1100010″ on or before 01-10-2012 through Speed Post/Registered Post of India Post only.
